Childcare

Whether it’s developing teamwork through sports, boosting confidence through leadership programs, or exploring creativity through the arts, we’re dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential and become positive, active members of our community. Join us in shaping a brighter future for Tillamook’s youth!

The Tillamook County Family YMCA offers safe, engaging, and comprehensive day camp and after-school programs designed to support children’s development through a variety of activities. These programs are tailored for children from preschool through sixth grade. All programs incorporate the following:

Enrichment Activities:

Participants engage in a range of enrichment activities designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. These activities include arts and crafts, science experiments, and other hands-on projects that encourage learning and exploration. The YMCA emphasizes the development of the four core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Physical Play:

Physical activity is a cornerstone of the YMCA’s programs. Children participate in various sports and games that promote physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork. The YMCA offers a safe and supportive environment where children can develop their physical skills and engage in active play.

Meals and Snacks:

The YMCA is committed to supporting the nutritional needs of children in its care. Free meal accommodations are available upon request in after-school and no-school day programs, ensuring that all children have access to healthy meals and snacks during their time at the YMCA.
